Medulla Textiles, a one-woman-art-show
Hi! I am Johanna, a textile artist, sewing wonderful, magical creations in my tiny studio located at the lake of constance, Austria.
I studied Arts & Communication and Fashion & Styles at the academy of fine arts in vienna to become an art tacher, but the sewing-passion is something I got from my Mama. I grew up beneath a sewing machine and my biggest passion is and was always creating fantasy friends and crazy artsy stuff.
All my creations are 100% handmade! I put lots of love and effort in my artdolls, my wall hangings, pocket altars and shrines, and i hope that they all find loveable new homes!

✂️ PRODUCTION AND MATERIALS
✋ All my textile art is handmade! I sew everything with my sewing machine and also by hand. This is why my work may sometimes look a bit crazy and nothing but perfect, but that’s totally on purpose ! ☺️
♻️ I mostly use vintage clothes and/or furniture leftovers for my creations, the dolls are all stuffed with recycled polyester filling!

🎎The dolls are for everyone, who is looking for a crazy little stuffie-room-mate, that isn’t just a stuffed soul-less thing. I put so much love and effort in my dolls, and I want them to find a home, where they get appreciated. Some of them are poseable, some just like to sit around. But all of them are made with so much love and joy!
They are not plushies, that like to be cuddled, please respect their private space ❤️
🔮My pocket altars, shrines and magical wall hangings are for everyone, who enjoys some fancy magical, textile collages, that are rich in symbolism and full of mystical meaning.
